Portland State University's institutional portfolio project team includes twelve faculty members from various university departments. The committee members meet once a month to discuss and plan the institutional portfolio. The members of the faculty committee include:

In developing PSU's portfolio, the project team should also make use of Ex-officio members and consultants from areas within and outside the University who can provide expertise and guidance in specific areas. Examples of internal areas are student development and student services, continuing education, admissions and registration, marketing, information technologies, athletics, business and financial affairs, and academic departments. Examples of external areas are K-12 and community college representatives, business and industry, government, alumni, parents, and state higher education officials.
